Network Management Policy for OzarksGo, LLC

OzarksGo, LLC is committed to providing reliable, high-speed internet services to our customers. To ensure the integrity, security, and performance of our network, we have established this Network Management Policy. This policy outlines the principles and practices we follow to manage our network and maintain the highest possible quality of service for all users.

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Protect the security and integrity of our network and customer data.

This policy applies to all network management activities conducted by OzarksGo, LLC, including but not limited to:

  • Blocking
  • Throttling
  • Affiliated Prioritization
  • Paid Prioritization
  • Congestion Management
  • Application Specific Behavior
  • Device Attachment
  • Security

4. Network Management Practices

  • BLOCKING: OzarksGo, LLC blocks port 25 (SMTP) on all residential internet services. This practice is employed to help eliminate SPAM issues related to virus activity. All other traffic is permitted.
  • THROTTLING: OzarksGo, LLC does not throttle any network traffic.
  • AFFILIATED PRIORITIZATION: OzarksGo, LLC does not prioritize public internet-based traffic; we do prioritize services for internal OZARKSGO applications, such as electric services and OZARKSGO TV and voice services.
  • PAID PRIORITIZATION: OzarksGo, LLC does not allow paid prioritization from any third party.
  • CONGESTION MANAGEMENT: OzarksGo, LLC does not use congestion management practices.
  • APPLICATION-SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR: Blocking SMTP port 25 to help control email SPAM is the only specific blocking utilized by OzarksGo, LLC.
  • DEVICE ATTACHMENT RULES: OzarksGo, LLC allows for a single internet device compliant with normal internet standards to attach to the network.
  • SECURITY: OzarksGo, LLC reserves the right to block devices exhibiting behavior inconsistent with normal use. Depending upon the severity of the threat, an end user may be contacted before or after OzarksGo, LLC blocks a device.

5. Customer Privacy

OzarksGo, LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We do not monitor the content of customer communications except as required to manage the network or comply with legal obligations. Any data collected for network management purposes is anonymized and aggregated wherever possible.

6. Compliance and Enforcement

OzarksGo, LLC complies with all applicable laws and regulations related to network management and customer privacy. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of service. 

7. Review and Updates

This policy is subject to periodic review and updates to ensure it remains current with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Customers will be notified of any significant changes to this policy.
